Need a flexible version of shell script to run processing
a) config file name read in b) control whether to make a clean start (removing data) c) if data not removed then run from position given by last stage output d) choice to stop at particular point if required e) write out log file giving code version (need to implement) and other control info f) allow various levels of output logging (e.g. verbose, minimum etc.)
