I also re-name the files and drop all new_ from the scripts.
icoads.utils also does not have any more the word "new" in function names or .R files.
I tested the code up to merge_ids_year.R for 1840 only!
I also tested: clean_data.R, clean2track.R
The only script that I couldn't run for 1840 is nrt_dup.R. Therefore, I am leaving that issue open. See more information at issue #23 (closed). I am closing the rest because all the paths work for me.
Hope you have no troubles. If anything is broken we can always go back to previous commits so don't worry for the repository.
